UK: EverGrowth Group buys 35-year-old family waste firm Haulaway
Waste management & recycling
EverGrowth Group, a UK buy-and-build group set up in 2025, has acquired the Hailsham operation of Haulaway, a waste management and recycling business founded by the Holloway family in 1991 with two skip lorries.
News: A 35-year-old family business is split before the sale: the operating business goes to a new acquisition group, while the founders keep the Polegate site and stay involved.
Why it matters: EverGrowth is building a national group of B2B essential services businesses, funded by FourLeaf Capital with senior debt from OakNorth Bank, and made two acquisitions at once (Haulaway and Medway Heating).
Radar: Watch for further EverGrowth acquisitions of owner-run UK service businesses in soft, hard, environmental and critical services.
